Independents and third-party candidates have always struggled to get elected to office. Ballot access laws, gerrymandering, and other tools ensure that your only choice, every year, is a Republican or Democrat.
This time we have an opportunity to do something incredible.
Never before have Americans been more dissatisfied with our choices for President. Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have negative approval ratings, and both act as if they will sail into office unopposed. But...
Unlike other offices, the President can't just win 50% of the country. He has to win a 270 electoral votes at the electoral college. And we have the chance to stop them.
At least 7 states, including Arizona, Wyoming, North Dakota, Vermont, Maine, and Nebraska have a small enough population to win an electoral vote with just a few hundred thousand votes. Because Maine and Nebraska split their electoral votes, a third party candidate can win an electoral vote in Maine or Nebraska with under 200,000 votes. If we can get just 1 or 2 electoral votes, it could be enough to cause a contingent election and prevent either Biden or Trump from winning on election night.
Imagine tens of thousands of Americans in small states who've never before had a voice telling Washington: We're sick and tired and not going to take it anymore. Imagine hundreds of thousands of Americans supporting them across the country, spreading the word, and returning control of our elections to the people.
That's exactly what I plan to do.
If you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, if you're ready to send a message the Republicans and Democrats will never forget, then I urge you to join me. Let's stop both Joe Biden and Donald Trump from getting 270 electoral votes, send a message to Washington, and take back our election system.
